Privacy

Forever Twinking has no accounts yet, no advertising and no tracking or analytics scripts. Here is everything the site stores.

In your browser

• Two cookies remember the bracket and class you picked on the navigation bar, so pages open on them. They hold only those two choices, last a year, and are never used for tracking.
• Saved builds from the Gear Planner are kept in your browser's own storage. They never leave your computer; clearing your browser data removes them.

On our servers

• Like any website, our host keeps short-lived technical logs of requests (such as IP address, page and time) to keep the site running and secure.
• Build links you share contain only the build itself (gear, talents and the like), plus a character name if you typed one in.

Accounts

• Accounts are optional, and you sign in with Battle.net. We receive only your Battle.net account number and BattleTag (to recognise you and name your account), never your email address, password or characters. We keep your display name and the date you joined.
• The Collector addon notes the name and realm of the character that first saw each find, so finds can be credited to you. Type /ftc names off in game to stop this and remove the names already noted.
• Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; signing out removes it.
• A profile picture you upload is cropped and shrunk in your browser; we keep only that small square picture (never your original file or anything stored in it, such as where a photo was taken). It shows on your profile, beside your posts and in the navigation bar, and you can remove it any time.
• Builds you save are private unless you choose to share them. We don't send marketing email and don't share your details.
• To delete your account and everything saved with it, contact us through the Support page.

Donations

Donations are handled by the payment provider you choose; we never see card details. See Support the project.

Game data

Data recorded with the Forever Twinking Collector addon stays on the player's computer unless they choose to share it. Where the site's game data comes from is listed under Data sources & licences.
